Justice League - No Zack Snyder Cut on Blu-ray
Zack Snyder's departure from the Justice League production triggered severe changes and what ended up in cinemas in November 2017 didn't have a lot to do with what he envisioned. As we reported earlier, Joss Whedon finished the film, shot new material and removed scenes Snyder directed. On top, the soundtrack by Junkie XL was replaced by Danny Elfman's work.
Shortly before the film hit cinemas, a petition called for the Snyder Cut being released alongside the theatrical version on the home video releases. 160.000 signatures, among them several people involved with the production of the film and even Zack Snyder himself supported the petition.
However, their hopes were not fulfilled as Warner Bros. announced the various home video edition without even the slightest hint at a Zack Snyder Director's Cut. Only the already-known theatrical version will be featured on the DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and UHD Blu-ray.
