Fifty Shades of Black With Unrated Deleted Scenes If a film is successful, it's no rare occasion that spoof comedies quickly follow as an attempt to grab some cash. The erotic drama Fifty Shades of Grey is such a case as it indirectly spawned Fifty Shades of Black. The "R"-rated comedy stars Marlon Wayans and was an outright flop at the box office. Still, it has its home video release date set for April 19th, 2016 on DVD and Blu-ray and it looks like it has something special in store. Something "Unrated". But while the first impulse might be to expect a longer and raunchier film version included on the disc, it's worth taking a closer look. Why? Because the thing advertised here are "unrated deleted scenes". Well. Deleted scenes are always not rated and it shows that the strategy to promote a mediocre product is just that. At least Fifty Shades of Grey had a real unrated version (see comparison). ![]()
