Comparison between the internationally used version and the extended version (both included on the German DVD by Cargo Records / the extended version used to run on German TV stations RTL II and Premiere)

- One additional scene
- Duration: 236.9 sec (= 3:57 min)

Madam City Hunter (German title: Born to Fight 6) had to endure harsh censorship in Germany. The German VHS was cut bei 5.5 minutes, but curiously enough, the airings on German TV were uncut in earlier times.

What is special about this film in all German releases at the time is that there was a 4-minute scene in the middle of the film that obviously did not belong to the actual plot. Explosions, a car chase and a quite violent fight can be seen here, so that this was not a bad addition in itself. However, none of the people in it are appearing in the rest of the movie and even die-hard genre fans still puzzle about where the material originally came from.

Anyway: On the German DVD premiere, available since November 20th, 2020, you can find two versions. The main film is the internationally used version in good quality and of course uncut with all the violent scenes that were missing on VHS. In the bonus material, the "extended version" was reconstructed, as known from German TV (and in censored form on VHS). Most of the material was taken from the German VHS and a few moments censored there were saved from the South African DVD in full screen.

Runtimes are ordered as follows: International version on German DVD in PAL / Extended version on German DVD in PAL

54:21 / 54:21-58:18

After Anthony Wong's opponent has poisoned himself, the additional action scene follows quite incoherently. An alleged member of the 5-finger-gang walks armed through a forest and then notices some cops in front of him. He fires at them and then flees after some explosions and shots back in his direction. He knocks someone out in front of a car and drives away. The cops take up pursuit and in between the guy shoots out of the car. After an explosion, he is briefly distracted and steers the car against a wall. It explodes, but he was able to jump out before that and runs away. The cops follow of course.

Then a fight ensues in which the cop in pursuit takes several blows. A few harder attacks were inserted in full screen (= South African DVD) from another image source because they were censored on the German VHS in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio, which was the source for the rest of the scene.

When the colleague in the white shirt comes along, the baddie holds the other one in front of him as a shield and runs away. A few steps further, he surprises the cop from below and beats his legs away with a piece of wood. Again, several harder beatings were then added from the full-screen source and finally the other cop comes to the rescue. But this remains unsuccessful and the baddie throws him to the ground as well before he limps away.
