The biggest success of the past US TV season was without a doubt the Lee Daniels-produced hip hop drama Empire with Terrence Howard and Tajari P. Henson as the leads. Daniels, who was nominated for 2 Oscars in 2010, directed two episodes of the series. And the pilot episode will be included as a Director's Cut - at least in the Gold Edition.

This Blu-ray Gold Edition will be released in the US on November 3rd, 2015. Beware, though, because a normal edition (without the majority of the bonus and possibly also without the Director's Cut) comes out mid September.
