The Gallows With Director's Cut on Blu-ray Cost-effective horror movies for cinemas are a specialty of Blumhouse Productions with the Paranormal Activity and Sinister franchises being some of their well-known titles. Their newest output The Gallows made almost $40 million at the box office with a budget of only $100.000. Maybe this huge financial success means that they don't have to advertise the fact that the upcoming Blu-ray will feature an alternate version of the movie alongside the theatrical cut - at least the cover artwork for the US doesn't give a hint that it is on board. Only the bonus material says that there's a Director's Cut (called Original Version). Whatever that means will have to be looked at once the Blu-ray comes out. In the US, the street date will be October 13th, 2015. You can order it at Amazon.com.
