Tammy Gets an Extended Cut on Blu-ray

Melissa McCarthy Comedy Longer on Home Video

Critics weren't all too pleased with Melissa McCarthy's newest comedy and box office analysts forgot about Tammy in a heartbeat after its first weekend couldn't impress. But the film turned out to have a long breath and fights its way up to the $100 million mark. Not bad for a cheaply made movie.

And to make even more money, the MPAA bulletin shows that an Extended Cut is on the way. How much longer that version will be is unknown at this point, but it will stay rated "R" and will have the same reasoning for it (for language including sexual references)

The Extended Cut of Tammy doesn't have a release date yet.

Release: Aug 23, 2014 - Author: Das Wiesel - Translator: Mike Lowrey
