Hatchet 3 - The US Get 2 Versions

Splatter Movie As R-Rated and Unrated Edition

A saying goes that one shouldn't break with traditions. And the distributors behind the Hatchet films certainly do not intend to so. In the case of the previous films of the franchise, the uncensored versions were released unrated on DVD/BD while there were also additional "R"-rated editions. Those were cut in the drastic violence scenes.

The same release strategy will be applied to Hatchet III. When Dark Sky Films releases the movie in US retail on August 12th, 2013, the uncensored version will be available as an Unrated Director's Cut on DVD and Blu-ray. The censored "R"-rated version appears to be only available on DVD.

You can order the Unrated Blu-ray at Amazon.com
