The Vampire Lovers Gets Uncut BD Release in the US The British horror film The Vampire Lovers was made in the famous Hammer studios in the 1970s. For the US market, several scenes had to be censored in order to achieve the "R" rating. For April 2013, the US distributor Scream Factory has announced to release the film uncut on Blu-ray. It has an English DTS-HD audio track while the bonus section offers an audio commentary, a documentary with background info on the film, an interview with Madeline Smith, excerpts from the novel "Camilla" as well as a picture gallery, the theatrical trailer and radio spots. It is very likely that the Blu-ray will be Region A-locked. It will be released on April 30th, 2013. Order the new release at Amazon.com
