Don Jon's Addiction Probably Censored for R-Rating Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a young man who isn't that interested in love but highly prone to sex. He's very successful at that and scores girls on a regular basis in the clubs. A perfect sex life, you could say, but the true passion of the protagonist aren't real women but porn movies on his computer screen. That lends itself as a plot for a cheap sex comedy but it is Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut Don Jon's Addiction. It features some well-known actors and has a quite successful track record with various festivals. A film about pornos? That's gonna be problematic with the MPAA. Even though the original cut of the film omits too graphic details in the montages of the sex films anyway, the "R" will probably demand more removal. Fans can at least hope that they can get an unrated version on the home video releases. Don Jon's Addiction is currently screening at the Berlinale festival.
