Black Hawk Down: 4K UHD Premiere in US & UK Black Hawk Down (2001) by blockbuster director Ridley Scott, describes the events of the civil war in Somalia, in particular the Battle of Mogadishu in October 1993, in which US and UN soldiers participated and which became a disaster for the Americans. The cast includes Josh Hartnett, Ewan McGregor, Tom Sizemore and Eric Bana. Awarded with two Oscars, the war film was released in a theatrical version and an extended cut (see comparison). Now, Black Hawk Down celebrates its 4K UHD world premiere in the US and the UK. This release will have both versions on board.
