The Hustle - Remake Swaps R-Rating With PG-13 The comedy The Hustle is already the second remake of Bedtime Story (1964) starring Marlon Brando and David Niven. The first remake would be Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Steve Martin and Michael Caine. The Hustle does it again, except the two leads are female now - played by Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. While the movie was originally supposed to be released theatrically with an R-Rating (for some crude sexual references), production company MGM considered the rating too high. According to The Hollywood Reporter, MGM lodged appealed and got their beloved PG-13 (for crude sexual content and language). Whether or not any alterations were made is still unknown at that point.
