The Hateful 8 - Roadshow Version Not on French BD Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight has been the topic of lots of discussions, one of the most talked about surely being the fact that there is a longer version for 70mm screenings in specially equipped cinemas only. It features 6 more minutes of actual footage and another 6 minutes consisting of the overture and intermission. For the home video releases in different territories, only the multiplex version that the majority of viewers got to see was announced. However, when a Collector's Edition appeared on amazon.fr, fans got curious. France has a certain history of released versions that didn't come out anywhere else at first, so spotting the "version longue" sticker on the front could have been a sign. But apparently not for long as the artwork is now renewed and misses the info. That fits to the info we got from the German distributor that told us that only the multiplex version has been greenlit to be released on home video. The US have the Blu-ray since March 29th, 2016 in the original 2,76:1 format. You can order it at Amazon.com.
