The Longest Ride - UK Gets Uncensored DVD

Cinema Censorship Waived for Home Video Release

When the Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Longest Ride was heading to UK cinemas, viewers had to deal with a censored version. For the BBFC 12A rating, the distributor chose to tone down one of the sex scenes that would otherwise had caused the film to be rated "15". But since that would've excluded a portion of the target audience, the decision to censor it was made.

However, the DVD will not suffer the same fate. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release it on November 2nd, 2015 with the BBFC 15 classification. You can order it at Amazon.co.uk.
