The Transporter Refueled Starts With PG-13 Rating While the uproar about the mass-appealing PG-13 rating for Terminator Genisys is very vocal at the moment, the news that The Transporter Refueled, the fourth theatrical entry of the franchise, does also start with that classification is almost a sidenote. It has been that way for the franchise all along. At least for part 1 and 2, massive censorship was required in order to reach that rating but that was resolved later on the home video releases. Part 3 stayed as it was and the situation for part 4 is unclear at the moment. The PG-13 for the most recent film of the series was given "for sequences of violence and action, sexual material, some language, a drug reference and thematic elements". Quite some stuff in there, but we'll have to wait on information given either by officials involved in the movie's production or the announcement for the Blu-ray in order to see whether fans can hope for a harder version than the one that will start in cinemas soon.
