The Love Punch Slightly Censored in UK Cinemas The comedy The Love Punch was mainly filmed in France and features the former Bond actor Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson as the leads. Judging by the trailer, we can expect the kind of mild and harmless comedy that happens rather often with British participation. But then again, it might not be that harmless after all, at least not in the dialogue department. Apart from some fucks, the script also features one usage of the word motherfucker. And that would have caused the film a BBFC 15 rating, which is unfortunate according to the distributor that rather wants a 12A rating for the theatrical release. And in order to get that, the decision was made to remove it from the finished film. We'll check back later if it will find its way back into the film when the DVD/Blu-ray have a release date in sight.
