Last Vegas and the Reason for the Initial R-Rating A short time ago, we reported that Last Vegas underwent a successfull appeal at the MPAA which caused the rating to be lowered from "R" to "PG-13". In an interview, director John Turteltaub explains what the initial problem was.
So, although it would have been interesting to hear what the argumentation was to stress the necessity of this term, it's remarkable nontheless that "blow job" was the trigger and nothing else. Turteltaub also said that the PG-13 rating was needed because the film's target group might be sensitive to this issue:
Last Vegas is in US cinemas since November 1st, 2013, while the UK will have to wait until January 3rd, 2014. ![]()
