The Last Exorcism 2 Gets Unrated Cut on DVD/BD

Longer Version on Home Video Releases

Planned and announced as an "R" rated film, the Eli Roth-produced The Last Exorcism 2 only came into cinemas as a PG-13 version. However, this lower rating still didn't manage to make the film a success at the box office.

So what do you do if you want to make more money and attract possible buyers to the DVD/BD release? Right, you put an Unrated Cut on the home video release. In the case of The Last Exorcism 2, this will become reality on June 18th, 2013. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will contain the longer version.
