Lawless Exists in 2 Versions, the US is Censored Sometimes, there are films that are released in alternate versions without anybody really noticing because there are no obvious signs. In 2010, the film Splice had significant differences between the British/American and German releases. The same goes for On the Road where there was no advertisement or announcement that there would be 2 versions. One of our users has now brought to our attention that the film Lawless starring Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf and Jessica Chastain is such a case, as well. Here, the US and Canadian versions differ. We will cover the alterations in a comparison report as soon as possible but we can confirm that there are in fact differences with the color timing and alternate material. For example, there's a scene right at the beginning where a pig is shot in the head. While the Canadian version shows a close-up of the bullet impact, the US only shows the gun.
