Hating Breitbart Suffers Cuts for PG-13 Rating
In autumn 2012, we reported that the documentary Hating Breitbart received an "R" rating for language and that the distributor planned to appeal that rating. Even the theatrical release was delayed because of that.
4 months later, it looks like that appeal did not turn out to be successful. The new MPAA bulletin shows that the documentary got its PG-13 rating after alterations. So you can expect that the language was edited.
It remains to be seen whether the later DVD/BD releases will contain the censored or uncensored version. In the other recent case of heavily discussed cuts in the documentary Bully, we ended up getting only the PG-13 version on the home video releases.
