Lucky Bastard Gets Slapped With NC-17 Rating It was just a matter of time with all the found footage films in recent years when there was gonna be a script which takes the sensational discovery of footage into the porn business. That seems to be quite a good fit since this genre rarely tries to tell real stories anymore and is dominated by pseudo-documentary mechanisms. Lucky Bastard is a film about an internet porn site where fans of tasty adult entertainment get the chance to get into bed with real porn stars while getting filmed doing so. Unfortunately, this seems to be a thriller and not a comedy. In the end, it's probable that not all lucky bastards will be so lucky with their date. At least the film is not watered-down by an "R" rating in the US but is distributed as an NC-17 version. In the US, it's more likely that it gets out as VOD and not theatrically before it eventually hits DVD and Blu-ray. Rated NC-17 For explicit sexual content.
