Zero Dark Thirty Will Not be Shown In Pakistan The film Zero Dark Thirty by director Kathryn Bigelow deals with the American hunt for Osama Bin Laden, who finally got killed in the Pakistani town Abbottabad. It was nominated for 5 Oscars and had a relatively successful run in US cinemas. Pakistan will not show the movie in cinemas, however, even though one of the biggest distributors there, Cinepax, wanted to try it. Mohin Yaseen commented:
One of the reasons he mentioned was the massive censorship that another Osama movie (Code Name Geronimo?) had to endure before it could get released there. Other distributors followed that decision and refrain from showing ZD30 in the country.
