Nightbreed - Director's Cut with 3 hours runtime Clive Barker had to make severe alterations before his horror film Nightbreed could be released. On the one hand, it was too explicit for an R rating and on the other hand, the producers thought his Director's Cut was too long. The cut out material was declared missing until it resurfaced in 2009. Since then, several attempts were made to put it all together in order to create the original version and on some festivals, viewers had the opportunity to watch longer cuts of the film. The latest screening took place in Charlotte, North Carolina, on March 24th, 2012. The version that was shown was 3 hours long and has never been seen before, containing material from three different cuts of Nightbreed. The producers hope that they can release it later on DVD or even Blu-ray. This is supported by a fan-made petition that asks for the so-called Cabal Cut to be finally released. If you want to join the masses, you can sign the petition here.
