Cult of Chucky Also Gets an R-Rated Version It has been clear for quite some time now that the DTV sequel Cult of Chucky will be released on 10/03/2017 in the US - both on Blu-ray and DVD. As uncensored Unrated Version that is, of course. Furthermore, the release will also contain a shorter R-Rated Version. So far, it is still unknown how the R-Rated differs from the Unrated Version but a detailed comparison will shed some light.
