Ghostbusters - Extended Cut Release in October
During the promo tour for his Ghostbusters movie starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, among others, director Paul Feig hinted at a longer version for the home video releases. He shared the info that this cut would run 15 minutes longer than what was seen in theaters.
And in contrast to other director's, Feig kept his word and the extended cut will be on the upcoming Blu-ray of Ghostbusters together with the theatrical version. Ob October 11th, 2016, US customers will be able to purchase the film and it's highly likely that other territories will get the longer version as well, especially considering the disappointing box office results the film produced.
You can order the Blu-ray at Amazon.com.
