The Other Side of the Wind Awaits Completion

Netflix Wants to Finalize Old Orson Welles Film

Orson Welles' The Other Side of the Wind was shot between 1970 and 1976 but never got released. While the shoot itself was riddled with problems, legal issues prevented it from seeing the light of day.

A campaign on Kickstarter was initiated in late 2014 and gathered over $400.000 for the film's restoration and a month ago, Wellesnet announced that Netflix is interested in finishing and releasing the movie. In addition to that, a documentary about the process will be produced.
