Wolverine 3 - Fox Aims at R-Rating

Announcement Brochure Gets the Rumors Going

A Wolverine movie with "R" rating? A constellation that should get fans excited in an instant, especially since the 2nd film already showed how that could turn out with the film's harder Unrated Cut that increased the violence (see comparison).

On March 3rd, 2017, Hugh Jackman will embody his iconic role as Wolverine for the last time on the big screen and the big question will be: what rating will the film have? According to a brochure by 20th Cenury Fox that was given out at the New York Toy Fair, that question could be answered: R-rated. But with so much time before the film finally starts in cinemas, there's a lot that can happen behind closed doors and the decision is probably not final yet. This is most likely not the last news we'll write about that aspect of Wolverine 3.
