Facebook Mistakes Elbow for a Woman's Breast Last week, we reported about Apple censoring apples and now we have a funny story about a website that tested how good the censorship on Facebook works. In order to do so, they uploaded the following picture on their Facebook page and when a user complained that the picture showed a naked woman, Facebook removed it less than 24 hours after it was put up and contacted the Facebook user responsible for uploading.

When other media such as Huffington Post and Daily Mail reported about this incident, Facebook took a closer look at the picture, which they finally released again. They also apologized to Theories.of. It's unknown whether Facebook will introduce workshops for their censors in order to identify female breasts with a higher accuracy in the future.
