The Sicilian - Blu-ray Release With Director's Cut

Shout Factory Sets Date for March in the US

The Sicilian from 1987 is the adaptation by Mario Puzo's novel that goes by the same name and stars Christopher Lambert, among others. In US cinemas, a version was shown that was 31 minutes shorter than the original cut of the movie that has a runtime of 146 minutes. This one was released in Europe on DVD later.

In the US, Shout Factory will release the Director's Cut on Blu-ray for the first time ever on March 29th, 2016. Bonus materials will not be included but the additional 31 minutes don't seem so bad of a deal, hm?

You can order the Blu-ray at Amazon.com.
