Massacre at Central High: Blu-ray Due in 2016 Massacre at Central High is a US horror film that was released in 1976. For its 40th anniversary, Synapse Film plans on releasing the movie on DVD and also on Blu-ray (which is a format premiere). Director Rene Daalder will oversee the HD sampling. At this early point, it's still unclear what the specs of the release will be. However, it's going to be interesting which version(s) will end up on there. Apart from the original version, there's also a prolonged version that was released e.g. in Italy which features more sex scenes and also a little more violence (see comparison). We'll see how Synapse Film deals with the situation once the release comes into sight in 2016.
