Hercules Gets an Extended Cut Brett Ratner's Hercules stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and is a film adaptation of the graphic novel The Thracian Wars. Even though it was decidedly more successful than this year's other similar-themed movie The Legend of Hercules, it still struggles to make back its costs in theaters. Maybe that's another reason why the film will be released on Blu-ray in an Extended Cut that adds approximately 5 more minutes to the film. We'll find out soon enough whether that affects mostly story or violence. You can already pre-order it at Amazon.com.
