Doctor Who: Censored Episode due to Terrorists

Beheading Scene Removed from Cult Series

The third episode of the current Doctor Who season (Robot of Sherwood) was shot back in February when there was nowhere in sight that the IS terrorists could surface and release videos of them decapitating Western journalists. For the upcoming airing of the episode, a scene showing a beheading will in fact be removed due to the current events happening in the Middle East. BBC confirmed that in a statement:

BBC: "In light of recent news events, we have made an edit to episode three out of respect."

It's currently unclear whether a later home video release on Blu-ray will contain the scene.
