23 Blast Appeals PG-13 Rating

Sports Drama Wants Lower Rating from MPAA

The sports drama 23 Blast tells the story of a football player who has to accommodate to his sudden blindness. During the first round at the MPAA, it received the PG-13 rating because it showed minors drinking alcohol. The distributor wants to appeal that decision since it aims for a PG rating. That is a necessary classification for many feel good films that aim at a family crowd. A final decision can be expected soon since the theatrical release in the US is scheduled for October 3rd, 2014.
