Hannibal - Season 2 Without Uncensored Episodes? Hannibal isn't the biggest success with general audiences but has managed to entertain a large enough fanbase that justifies a 3rd season. Until that is aired on TV, the 2nd season awaits its release on Blu-ray and DVD. On September 16th, 2014, the US get the home video editions. However, there is a downside to it. According to the detailed announcement for the releases, the studio doesn't mention anything regarding the uncensored episodes even though it was previously confirmed that some scenes had to be cut. And after the studio explicitly communicated that the 1st season got uncensored episodes on the Blu-ray, it's quite a surprise that it isn't mentioned now. Whether they might still be on there is going to be investigated mid September. Apart from that, the Blu-ray box has a lot of extras, including deleted scenes:
