Sons of Anarchy - Season 5 With Extended Episodes Sons of Anarchy has gained a large fan following over the years and is currently in its 6th season. But before that can be purchased, the 5th season gets its release in the US. As it is not uncommon with TV series, episodes are sometimes included in a longer version on the home video releases because they don't require that the series fit into a tight time schedule. The makers of Sons of Anarchy have previously made use of this freedom and enriched the releases of season 3 with three extended episodes and season 4 with four of them. The 5th season will be released in the US on August 27th, 2013, and will include longer episodes, as well. The promo material calls them "Creator's Cuts" without giving away how many of them will be prolonged. You can order it at Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.
