Spider-Man: Far From Home - No Extended Cut The comic book hero adaptation Spider-Man: Far From Home is now Sony's most successful film. One of the reasons for its success is an extended cut, which was released in the US at the end of August 2019. For that, the beginning of the film was supplemented by some scenes in which Peter Parker still has a few errands to do before he can go on a school trip to Europe. In between he also beats up some criminals. But the extended cut doesn't seem to come to Blu-ray now, because only the first theatrical version is announced. Instead, the new scenes will be shown as a separate short film, something the director himself had announced long before the second theatrical version/Extended Cut. This results from the detailed version information of the US Blu-ray. It can be assumed that it doesn't look any different in the rest of the world.
