The Hateful Eight - Extended Cut Comes to Netflix
In the US, the list of all April 2019 Netflix newcomers was published. And there is a pleasant surprise for April 25, 2019. Netflix actually announced The Hateful 8 as an extended cut. This extended version is probably the 70mm roadshow version that Quentin Tarantino made exclusively for cinemas that can show the old 70mm format.
In addition to an overture and intermission, there are also some regular scene extensions and alternatie scenes that make up a total of about 6 additional minutes. We already had more details about this in our news about the theatrical release.
This longer version of The Hateful Eight isn't available on Blu-ray yet, so it's a bit surprising that Netflix of all destinations is supposed to show this version. A little skepticism remains, but we will see it at the end of April.
