John Carpenter's The Fog Restored in 4K

UHD Release in October 2018

After the huge success of John Carpenter's Halloween in 1978, John Carpenter directed The Fog in 1980. The critics back then were rather bad while it is being considered a genre classic nowadays.

In 2013, a Blu-ray based on a new HD master was released in the US and it is still the best choice. That being said, a new 4K restoration premieres on 10/26/2018 in US movie theaters (in New York and Chicago to be exact). Distributor is Rialto Pictures, the movie was restored in 4K by StudioCanal though.
