Dreamgirls Director's Cut Finally on Blu-ray Almost 4 years after director Bill Condon mentioned a Director's Cut for his successful Dreamgirls (2006), the time has come. Originally, the movie was supposed to be 20 minutes longer and the new cut was ready to see the light of day. Not until now, the movie starring Jennifer Hudson, Anika Noni Rose and Beyoncé Knowles has its release date for home theaters. But for some reason, the Director's Extended Edition only contains 10 minutes of additional footage. Nonetheless, this is most likely the version the director intended. Also, there will be a new DTS:X sound mix. Details of the Release:
The Blu-ray will be released on 10/10/2017 in the US.
