Underworld: Blood Wars - Deleted Scenes Details

Not only Dialog but Also Action Scenes Cut

Approx. 4 years after Underworld: Awakening, the fifth installment Underworld: Blood Wars was released theatrically at the beginning of January 2017 in the US.

During the promotion process, interviews were made of course and director Anna Foerster talked to Collider about the movie and revealed a few details regarding removed footage for the Final Cut. Apart from a lot of dialog and plot, some action scenes did not make it in the Final Cut either. However, she emphasized that no entire storyline is missing. Only existing scenes are shorter. So basically, business as usual.

Regarding a longer version on Blu-ray/DVD, Foerster was very tight-lipped. But since only the original Undereworld got an Extended Cut, the chances of getting a longer version of Underworld: Blood Wars are rather slim.
