Dawn of the Dead - Restored UHD Release Ahead George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978) has received a 4K restoration in Italy and was shown on the Venice Film Festival for the first time. Now, the first details for the upcoming Italian home video release of this restored version are available. On November 17th, 2016, Midnight Factory will release the first-ever Ultra HD Blu-ray in Italy. Apart from the Argento Cut in UHD, five Blu-rays will be available. They have the Argento Cut on Blu-ray, the US theatrical cut (Romero Cut) and the Extended Cut as well as a bonus disc with the bonus specs listed below. Also, a 4-disc Blu-ray set without the UHD Blu-ray and a 2-disc DVD set are set to be released. English audio will be included. Since no mention of a restoration of the other versions as made, you should probably only expect them in the same quality they have been in so far.
