Zootopia With Adjustments for Different Markets

Regional Changes in Animated Hit Movie

Disney's newest hit film Zootopia is a huge hit at the box office and seems to attract audiences in numerous countries. That surely is due to the overall quality of the film but still, the makers made sure not to alienate viewers in the diverse markets.

If you remember, Pixar did a similar thing with its hit Inside Out where food and sports were adjusted per region (see news). Zootopia does that trick with animals, more precise: with the newscasters. While e.g. China gets to see a panda, Australia and New Zealand get a Koala.
