Dr. Malick arrives at the court house. The federal prosecuter tries to convince a lawyer that "the whole thing" is crazy and doesn't make sense. He says that the loved ones of the murder victims want to see Malcolm Rivers dead. Malick responds by saying that one has to kill the rat and not destroy the whole house.
