Comparison between the uncut German Ultimate Edition DVD released by Astro and the US-DVD released by Elite Entertainment (RC0). The Elite-version lacks a short shot of striking lightning which Sam Raimi did not want in the movie because of its poor quality. The lightning looks extremely artificial and when you take a closer look you realize that it is made by manually putting tears in the film footage and it looks very bad. The German Ultimate Edition contains this shot, anyway.
