Leon - The Professional With New 4K Blu-ray Many people think that Léon - The Professional is Luc Besson's best film, even though its initial theatrical version was heavily cut because several scenes were not received well by US test audiences back in the day. Later on, Besson released his favored version and this went on to become the cut of the movie that was internationally considered the better one. More details on the issue in our comparison. In the US, Sony releases a new Blu-ray on October 27th, 2015. It comes fresh off of a 4k master and contains both versions of the film. Let's see how long it takes until there's an Ultra HD version.
