Sleepaway Camp 2 + 3 - Blu-ray Premiere Ahead After the first Sleepaway Camp got its first ever Blu-ray earlier this year, the US label Shout! Factory plans to follow that up by putting out the two sequels in HD, as well. But not all is cleared up regarding the versions. There won't be problems for part 2 which was once cut in the UK but always uncensored in its R-rated form, it's part 3 that gives us reason to worry. It is considerably censored in its R-rated version. There are releases of the film (e.g. on German DVDs) that contain the uncut and unrated version of the movie but media outlets such as blu-ray.com list the upcoming Blu-ray as being rated R. That wouldn't be the best case scenario but there's still time for development of the situation. Maybe we'll get the third camping trip in all its uncensored glory in HD after all. We'll have to wait and see. Right now, no cover artwork and exact release date are known but that's also just a matter of time.
