X-Men: Days of Future Past - Extended Cut in 2015 In the US, X-Men: Days of Future Past hits DVD and Blu-ray on October 14th, 2014. As we all know by now, there has been an announcement for a longer Director's Cut that could contain the removed action scene with Rogue, among others. However, the info bulletin for the upcoming home video release shows that only the theatrical version will be on board. Will this be just another one of those cases where promises were made and not kept after all? No, according to James Finn from the marketing branch over at 20th Century Fox, the plan for that Extended Cut is still on. Via Twitter, he let the world know that 2015 is the year when the longer version is going to hit the Blu-ray. Considering that the home video releases of the theatrical version do have some deleted scenes but are missing the one with Rogue, the chances seem to be pretty decent that this promise holds up after all.
