The Last Horror Film With Blu-ray Premiere in UK

Uncut Special Edition of Former Video Nasty

Except for the two lead actors (Spinell & Munro), The Last Horror Film doesn't share many similarities with the classic killer flick Maniac. Still, it was enough to go on for the German distributors to advertise it as Maniac 2. As the film's history in the UK shows, it didn't even need this association since it became a problematic product during the government "video nasties" initiative, as well. It was banned alongside numerous others during that era.

But almost 30 years later, that isn't much of an issue any more and 88 Films uses this opportunity to release the film on its first Blu-ray edition ever. Uncut, of course. The UK release date is July 21st, 2014 and you can order it at Amazon.co.uk.
