The Other Woman with Unexpected R-Rating

Studio to Appeal Against MPAA Decision

In just a few weeks time, the women-oriented comedy The Other Woman will start in cinemas. And even though it might be reasonable that the studio follows along the lines of Cameron Diaz' last smash hit that was released with the "R" rating, it seems that this isn't intended here. The "R" rating for "some sexual references" goes against the studio's plans and will be appealed.

It remains to be seen whether cuts will be necessary to reach the "PG-13" goal. The Other Woman starts in US cinemas on April 25th, 2014.
