Anchorman 2 - Details on PG-13 Censorship The theatrical release of Anchorman - The Legend Continues has just started and it's no surprise that some details on the censorship that had to be made for the PG-13 rating surface in interviews. One problematic scene was a news segment about the "50 Geatest Vaginas in History" that involved the word "vagina" too frequently for the MPAA's taste. They demanded changes in wording in order to apply the PG-13 rating. Alternatives are "gina" or "va-jay-jay". Will Ferrell finds this to be an act of sexism on the MPAA's part. Also, Brian's line "We can do stories on the amount of ejaculate on hotel duvets." had to be replaced in the theatrical version. Furthermore, a scene with the drug "crack" was too risky for the rating and had to be altered. Obviously, the PG-13 rating was an absolute necessity for the theatrical version so cinemagoers will have to arrange with the alterations. An Unrated version is more than likely to be released on Blu-ray later on.
