Ice Age 4 Slightly Censored in the UK Sometimes it's more interesting what has to be censored in order to adjust a film to the youngest audiences instead of finding out which splatter effects the newest torture porn flick omits for adults. That's why our archive has some nice examples of censored kid's movies where the question must have been: "should even the youngest kids be able to see this?". Such films have the "U" rating in the UK and are suitable for children that are 4 years and older. Some films such as Madagascar, Shrek 2 or Lilo & Stitch had been censored in order to achieve this classification. As Melonfarmers noticed, a new entry is about to be added to that domain and it's a prominent one, as well. Ice Age 4 - Continental Drift got the "U" rating only after a cut of 4 seconds. In the scene, a character is called "spastic". This censorship was applied to the audio descriptive version of the movie. If UK customers don't refrain from this censorship, they can pick up the British releases starting December 4th, 2012.
